The project “Lectures of leading scientists” is being completed at OSU.
During the academic year, leading scientists in different fields met with teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of Orenburg State University in order to transfer to them the newest knowledge and information about technological achievements in the relevant sectors.
Anatoly Skalny, Director of OSU Institute of Bioelementology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Director General of the UNESCO Institute for Microelements, gave the first lecture titled “Bioelements: Fundamental Basics and Practical Application Experience”.
Sergey Letuta, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor and Sergey Miroshnikov, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Executive Director of OSU Institute of Bioelementology, Director of the All-Russia Cattle Breeding Institute, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences presented their scientific researches.
The last lecture was given by Sergey Cherkasov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Director of the Institute of Cellular and Intracellular Symbiosis of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Through April 23–26, he introduced students to the latest research in the field of microbiology, with peculiarities of the behavior of cells, bacteria and microorganisms.
