Russian-Japanese Conference

The International Russian-Japanese conference “Chemical Physics of Molecules and Polyfunctional Materials” was held in OSU from 29th to 31st of October.
Orenburg State University and University of Hiroshima (Japan) by support of Orenburg region’s administration provided its organization. The Japanese delegation consisted of professors Takayuki Ebata, Katsue Inoue, Takashi Suzuki from Hiroshima University and professor Yoshifumi Tanimoto from Osaka Ohtani University.
The vice-rector for Scientific Research, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciencesš— Sergey Letuta addressed to the participants and guests in frames of plenary meeting. He emphasized that the unique character of this event lays in the fact that not only technical aspects of modern science development, but philosophical approach to understanding will be discussed during the plenary meetings and conversations.
Further the professor Takayuki Ebata awarded OSU students with graduation certificates of “Advanced and Integrated Science” summer school in Hiroshima University, which will be a diploma supplement for OSU graduation paper. During 10šdays Orenburg students undertaking practical placement in educational and scientific laboratories of Hiroshima University visited lectures on the modern problems of physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, as well as lessons of Japanese language and culture.
Three scientific reports on chemistry, biology and molecular physics were presented during the plenary session. Professor Takayuki Ebata, Head of OSU Radio Physics and Electronics Department, D.šSc.š— Mikhail Kucherenko and Physics Faculty graduateš— Azamat Ishemgulov presented the main topics for the audience.
There were also plenary meetings and sessions, “New philosophical problems of modern physics” roundtable discussion, meeting of OSU Scientific Council, where the question of “OSU Honorary Professor” title conferment to professor Takayuki Ebataš— organizer and lecturer of Hiroshima University summer school will be discussed.
