"Tempus" Project

The scientists from Naples, Athens and Stockholm arrived to Orenburg for participation in the International scientific-practical conference "Design and Management of Automobile Roads: Reforming of curriculum in Russian Federation. Development and Implementation of Master’s Programs in Russia" held in OSU. On October 7 they met with OSU rector Vladimir Kovalevskiy.

The conference is one of activities regarded to Tempus project "HDMCuRF", implementing in Orenburg State University since November 2011. The partner universities develop and implement joint educational program, which enables teachers and undergraduates undergo training and practice in foreign partner universities: Naples University of Federico II (Italy), Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), National Technical University of Athens (Greece), Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical University, Altai State Technical University named after I.I. Polzunov, "FORMIT" group and International Association for Automotive and Road Engineering Education. In last three years ten teachers and three OSU undergraduates were trained in Italy, Sweden and Greece.

On the meeting with Rector there were: professor of Naples University of Federico II — Alfonso Montella, professor of National Technical University of Athens — Vasileios Psarianos, project manager of "FORMIT" — Cristina d'Alessandro and associate professor of Royal Institute of Technology — Albania Nissan.

The colleagues discussed future cooperation of universities conducted to the "Erasmus plus” project. OSU Rector expressed gratitude for the constructive cooperation during the Tempus project and Alfonso Montella in turn emphasized successful participation of Orenburg University in it.
