Russia and France: a cross-year of regional cooperation

On March 15, OSU Boiling Point hosted the Festival of Romance Languages and Cultures. Dr. Irina Moiseeva, Head of the Department of Romance Philology and Methods of French Language Teaching French, made a welcoming speech.

Olga Agarkova, Associate Professor of the Department together with her students made presentations about French Nobel laureates. OSU students and guests from Lyceum # 1 who attended the event have learnt many interesting facts about the award itself, as well as about scientists who got it: a writer Albert Camus, an educator Ferdinand Buisson, a biologist Jules Hoffmann and a pioneer in the field of electrical engineering and lasers Gérard Albert Mourou.
