Delegates from the Embassy of Japan visit OSU

On January 25, OSU welcomed the delegation from the Embassy of Japan in Russia: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mr. Toyohisa Kozuki, his wife Hiroko Kozuki, Adviser Yoshikazu Kodama and Secretary Hayato Moriyama.
In the morning, the guests came to the OSU Scientific Library and met with OSU top-executives: Interim Rector Sergey Miroshnikov, First Vice-Rector Svetlana Notova, Vice-Rector for Research Sergey Letuta, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development Konstantin Prokofiev, Director of the OSU Japanese Information Center Lyudmila Dokashenko. The discussion went about the many years cooperation between OSU and Japan. Joint researches and scientific publications, seminars and conferences, students and staff exchanges, summer schools are the main outcomes of collaboration. This year OSU Professor Vitaly Berdinsky and his colleague from Hiroshima University, Professor Katsuya Inoue have completed the translation of a famous book by academician Anatoly Buchachenko «The Beauty and Charm of Science».
Sergey Miroshnikov suggested to potential partners in Japan to have projects in different industries like robotics, healthy nutrition, ceramics, kaolin (white clay) extraction and its usage in medicine and cosmetology.
