OSU Boiling Point is open

On October 15, at 11:00, Orenburg State University hosted the opening ceremony of a new space for team work. This is the 92^nd “Boiling Point” in the country and the first one opened after the break caused by the pandemic.

“Today we are opening not just a space, but an environment where one get new skills, develop new thinking, hit upon new ideas and thus to be of benefit to our country,” — said OSU rector Zhanna Ermakova in her welcoming speech.

Leader of the "OSU Boiling Point” Ekaterina Poyarkova noted that the symbol of our space is the Orenburg web, which weaves meanings and unites five important elements: academicians, students, transformation teams, industrial partners and public organizations.

“The Agency for Strategic Initiatives” (ASI) has registered 88 project ideas from OSU. Seven of them got into the top 1000 best ideas and one — into the top 100.

Three new collaborative agreements were signed on that day: between Orenburg State University and the Platform of the National Technological Initiative; between the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the city of Orenburg administration; between Orenburg State University and University 20.35.
