OSU "Boiling Point": Wave III

The Webinar of Russian project “Agency for Strategic Initiatives” (ASI) for future university “Boiling Points” was held on June 10. It reviewed preparation activities of Russian universities to accommodate new locations for launching new projects planned for autumn 2020. Around 20 Russian universities from St. Petersburg, Ufa, Krasnodar, and Orenburg attended the online meeting.

Orenburg State University presented its work plan to join the project “Boiling Point”. OSU Prorectors, curators of the project Svetlana Pankova and Sergei Semenov and the future leader of “OSU Boiling Point” Ekaterina Poyrakova, and program director Sergei Dmitriev took part in the webinar.

While developing “OSU Boiling Point” strategy the university strives to netting Orenburg shawl XXI and five other elements: Orenburg region academic community, university transformation team, students’ community, industrial partners, and public organizations. “OSU Boiling Point” aims to develop human resources; teach regional leaders and teams to modern skills; exchange of first-hand information; create a common information space and a single space for distorted-free meaning , access to ASI and other development institutions agenda and resources; provide location for discussion and introducing of future images of new leaders, companies, and development institutions of the region; promote leaders and teams, to identify and select projects with high potential for replication and turning to systematic and strategic initiatives.

During the webinar, project co-partners discussed how teams were preparing to starting the project in autumn 2020, its program, format, and support. The work is still in progress.
