OSU starts academic exchange with a Portuguese institute

Collaboration of OSU Department of International Cooperation and Education Development and Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (Portugal) has resulted in getting funds for development of students and teachers academic mobility Erasmus+ КА1. Supported by Erasmus+, students and teachers of both higher educational establishments have got an opportunity to take part in academic mobility programs.

Orenburg State University submits applications for Erasmus+ international program every year. The program focuses on educational cooperation, professional education, youth and sports support.

"Students and teachers exchange program will start next academic year, more than 8 candidates will have an opportunity to take part in it" — told Liudmila Dokashenko, Director of OSU Department of International Cooperation and Education Development.

In 2017 Orenburg State University and Polytechnic Institute of Santarém signed a cooperation agreement. This event was previously reported. In 2019 OSU representatives under Erasmus+ К1 grant took part in an international school for international officers from higher educational establishments of European Union, Russia, and Turkey. Teachers of Polytechnic Institute of Santarém took part in the OSU round table “International cooperation of modern universities in the internationalization context”.
