Russia and France set standards for digital technologies promotion

On January 30–31 Russian State University of the Humanities hosted the VI Forum of Rectors of Humanities Universities of Russia and France.

The Forum is a regular international meeting to develop cooperation and exchange of views. It is held under the auspices of the Russian Union of Rectors and the Conference of Presidents of French universities (the Conférence des Présidents d'Université). This time, experts from France and Russia came to Moscow to discuss the role of digital technologies in Humanities and modern system education.

The forum united public and government officials, diplomats, administrators and educators from leading Russian and French universities.

Lyudmila Dokashenko, Director of OSU Department for International Cooperation and Education Development and Irina Perekhodko, Director of OSU French Language Center attended the event. They had working meetings with the members of French universities and forwarded them letters from the University's rector with the initiatives about academic exchanges and joint researches.

The Forum’s participants decided to promote and develop network cooperation, to support bilateral and multilateral projects aimed at integrating the Humanities and Natural Sciences.
