“The cooperation between OSU and Osh State University has started in 2018 when the universities signed a collaboration agreement. Later, I Forum of Russia and Kyrgyzstan University Rectors "Science and Education Promotion as an Investment for the Future" defined the areas of cooperation. Among the Forum’s participants were Zhanna Ermakova, OSU Rector, and Lyudmila Dokashenko, Director of OSU Department of International Cooperation and Education Development” — commented Natalya Yankina, Director of OSU Foreign Citizens Office.

In autumn semester 2 OshSU students have been studying in OSU — Aitunuk Tologushova (Faculty of Philology) and Elvira Asanova (Faculty of Chemistry and Biology).

Elvira Asanova is a future forensic expert. Her main goal in OSU was to get a deeper knowledge in chemistry, since this is necessary for her future work.

The student is grateful to her teachers for giving teaching manuals and textbooks and consulting her on the studies during the semester as well as to the fellow students who shared their knowledge and lecture notes, and also to the Law Department staff for letting her visit OSU Forensic Lab.

Aitunuk Tologushova studied English just like in her home university, but the challenge was to study German with its complicated grammar as well.

“Back home, we have just started learning it, while my new group mates are pretty fluent in German” — says Aitunuk. “I was blessed to have teachers and students assisting me a lot.”

Both young ladies confessed that studies took most of their time, and not much was left for leisure. Nevertheless, their new friends gave them a tour around Orenburg, invited to visit the finals of KVN Orenburg League and Orenburg State Drama Theater.

The Kyrgyz students were amazed with the sum of state scholarship that might go up to 12.000 rubles depending on one's academic achievements and social activities.

Both Aitunuk and Elvira promised to share their impressions about studies in OSU with their fellow students at the home university, since one can get here a profound knowledge, best possible education environment and guidance from teachers and other students.
