Ryotaro Kobayashi: between traditions and innovations

Ryotaro Kobayashi paid a friendly visit to Orenburg State University.

The teacher of Japanese has visited OSU Japan Information Center, its staff, graduates and beginners of Japanese language courses.

Charismatic and open to dialogue, Ryotaro has been answering numerous questions of the audience for two hours. He has been teaching Japanese in OSU for two years, took an active part in most of the university's events and even created a guide-book about Orenburg in Japanese together with his students. Sensei had returned home with a young wife, that he met in Orenburg. Once in two or three years the family visits Russian relatives and also OSU, where they reminisce the years spent in the university and tell the news in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
