Students from three countries study at the OSU Summer School

IV International Summer School “Modern Russian Science and Culture” began its work on September 9.

This year 15 students came to Orenburg State University from Hiroshima University (Japan), Tashkent Institute of Design, Construction and Maintenance of Automobile Roads (Uzbekistan), Ludwig Maximilian University (Germany). On the first day they were welcomed by Zhanna Ermakova, OSU rector, and Svetlana Pankova, OSU vice-rector for Economics and Strategic Development. When greeting the guests, Zhanna Anatolievna noted that the school collected students from different parts of the world. The fact confirms the motto of the region: “Orenburg is the heart of Eurasia”. She conveyed her gratitude to the rectors of universities and heads of international offices at home institutions, who facilitated the arrival of young people in Russia.

The first day of the school also listed a student forum, where participants had the opportunity to talk in detail about their universities: educational, scientific, international activities, rankings positions and campus facilities, and much more. International students made a tour of Orenburg State University.
