“Engineers of the Future — 2019”: grants, experience, impressions

VII International Youth Industrial Forum “Engineers of the Future — 2019” took place in Orenburg. More than 300 OSU students actively participated as volunteers, artists and press officers. Orenburg State University acted as the forum’s partner.

A total of 1000 young engineers and students from Russia and other countries attended the forum. Orenburg State University won a grant for social projects. For the first time in the forum the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs arranged and funded this competition. 8 participants who got financial support represented only 3 Russian territories: Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Orenburg region. OSU members got to the stage twice.

Elena Radchenko, the leader of OSU forum team, presented her project “VR-laboratory of professional competencies”. The second prize winner, Azat Baimov, a student from the OSU Aerospace Institute, suggested opening creative laboratories “RoboStart56” through the Orenburg region. Zhanna Ermakova, OSU Rector, believes that teamwork was an important component of the forum “Engineers of the Future — 2019” and those teams who succeeded to demonstrate it won and got prizes. According to the rector, the team from the Student Center — The Palace of culture “Russia” and volunteers who study at different years and faculties acted as a tight-knit team. Zhanna Anatolievna also complimented all OSU representatives at the forum on their enthusiasm and excellent work.
