Golden medal for the project for special kids

Julia Vorfolomeeva, an OSU student got a golden medal in the St. Petersburg Economic Forum. She won the XVI All-Russia competition for youth author projects and projects in the field of education aimed at the socio-economic development of Russian territories “My country — my Russia”.

Julia Vorfolomeeva, a Master degree student from the OSU Department of Management presented her project in the nomination “Creative technologies for the development of territories”. The project describes a theme Park “Kolobok” for children with disabilities.

The Park complex will be divided into 20 zones; each will represent a particular cartoon or children’s fairy tale. Through the game, favorite cartoon characters will get a corresponding message to children: the playground “Winnie the Pooh and his friends” will present friendship, “Robin Hood” playground will introduce them to courage and bravery, “Mermaid” will discover the underwater world, and “Mowgli” site will tell about wild animals.

The “Kolobok” park will have entertaining games for the development of mind and visual thinking. It will be the site for classes on socialization, first aid, making friends and personal development depending on individual capabilities.
