Immortal Regiment march: in one line with ancestors-winners

On May 9, on the day of the 74^th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Immortal Regiment march united more than 500 OSU members.

Teachers and students with the portraits of their grandfather and great-grandfathers, who struggled in the fields of the Great Patriotic War and worked in the home front, joined the demonstration along the Victory Avenue. The event happened for the six times and collected the record number of people — more than 45 thousand.

The final point for the march was the squire near the Pumping Tower. The concert of the performance groups with the ones from the Students Center “Russia”, the exhibitions of the OSU schools and faculties in front of the OSU Scientific Library building attracted a lot of Orenburgers. One could study the collection of books about the Great Patriotic War and answer the questions of the historical quiz and play interactive games organized by the Students’ Council and Trade Union.
