OSU — training center for volunteers for Engineering Forum in Russia

The Orenburg region’s government hosted the enlarged meeting of the organizing committee headed by the Acting Governor to plan and organize the VIII International Youth Engineering Forum “Engineers of the Future — 2019”.

The panel defined the main preparations to organize and hold the forum that will be held in the Orenburg region on July 2–13, and approved the plan of actions.

“Orenburg State University has got important tasks. And this fact proves the trust that main organizers have to the university. It has a promising potential for research, education, organizing and creativity. It trains volunteers’ body (120 people) and develops the forum’s training courses. And the grand opening and closing of the event were entrusted to the best groups of the OSU Students’ Center “Russia” — said Svetlana Pankova.

The university starts to train volunteers in April. It has got a wide experience in this field as well as in education. More than 1000 young engineers, of which 100 are international guests, will attend the forum. The students from Orenburg State University who completed the training program for defense and industrial sector will represent the Orenburg region.
