2019 kilometers, dedicated to the Winter Universiade

OSU students and educators greeted the first spring day with the grand ski race “In search of the Universiade”.

On March 1 it was lively and crowded at the stadium “Progress”. Cheerful music and mind, a great number of participants in bright outfits created a festive atmosphere.

— This sport event is dedicated to the Winter Universiade that starts tomorrow in Krasnoyarsk — said Zhanna Ermakova, OSU rector — The number 2019 is a symbolic one — it is the year of welcoming the winter international youth sport games for the first time in our country. So we decided to demonstrate our solidarity with its participants by setting our own record — to cover today 2019 km.

Every OSU faculty and institute delegated its members to the race. University leaders and guests were honored to start the first of 29 legs, standing for the sequence number of the Universiade.
