About internationalization in education and Russian winter

On January 24 Orenburg State University held the round table “International cooperation of modern universities in the internationalization context”. Educators from Russia, Portugal, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Germany attended the event. They discussed how their home universities develop cooperation with their international copartners.
Zhanna Ermakova, OSU rector, addressed to the topic of academic exchange and joint researches. She suggested an idea to organize a Summer School for Tashkent Institute of Design, Construction and Maintenance of Automobile Roads. OSU Faculty of Architecture and Construction might develop special training courses.
Alimzhon Riskulov, rector of Tashkent Institute of of Design, Construction and Maintenance of Automobile Roads, confirmed a strong wish to develop cooperation in the fields suggested. Next day both parties fixed their intentions to cooperate by singing a plan of actions.
Fabricia Pereira, Director of International Mobility Office from the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém analyzed the effect of Erasmus+ on integration processes in education. Two years ago the EU program celebrated its 30 anniversary.
Aibolat Orynbay introduced the audience to Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University and its study programmes designed with the institutions in Turkey and Europe. He mentioned that many post-graduate students visited Orenburg State University to meet with the scientific consultants and use the resources of the scientific library.
The round table ended with a solemn ceremony — two staff members of Tashkent Institute of of Design, Construction and Maintenance of Automobile Roads got the certificates on completing the OSU upgrading course. It was a convincing proof that the cooperation had started.
