Governor awarded OSU volunteers

The Governor’s Coordination Council on Volunteers summed the Year of a Volunteer up and awarded the best achievements. Zhanna Ermakova and 6 OSU students got diplomas.

The Council unites government officers and deputies of the local Legislative Assembly, majors, volunteer activists.

Yuri Berg, Governor of the Orenburg region noted in his speech that over 40000 volunteers in the region wished to make the world a better place. He extended congratulations to the best and presented them with Certificated of Merit from the President of Russia and commemorative medals for their contribution to the World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi. Institutions that provided its premises for the Festival’s events with Orenburg State University and Zhanna Ermakova in the list got the recognition. This award, in the opinion of Zhanna Anatolyevna, is the merit of the whole OSU team, its students, staff and teachers, who worked with great enthusiasm to design the regional site of the Festival.
