Venaliy Amelin, Director of the OSU Research Institute of History and Ethnography of the Southern Urals participated in the XXIV EAWARN seminar held in Vienna, Austria.

It gathered EAWARN members from Russia, the UK and Austria as well as OSCE experts in migration policy.

Venaliy Amelin presented a speech “Migration in EAEU as a space for new possibilities and challenges”. The idea is that migration of labor, goods, services and capital is one of the fundamentals of the Eurasian Economic Union that unites Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
