As a part of DAAD sholarship program OSU students from the Faculty of Philology and Journalism attended summer language courses in Germany.

During summer vacations they studied in Hamburg, Aachen, Kassel, Muenchen and Hannover. The study program had not only classes but many excursions and activities arranged by the German colleagues. Olga Simutova, Head of German Philology and Methods of German Language Teaching, takes a special pride in the students who got a tuition from DAAD. All students who attended the courses demonstrated a good knowledge of German they got in OSU. Many certificates granted by the German universities testifiy the hich level of their German language proficiency.
