Developing cooperation with universities in China

Eduard Yasakov, Director of OSU Department of International Cooperation, and Khristina Nikiforova, Director of OSU Center for Chinese Language and Culture, made a business trip to China.

They visted Anhui University in Hefei and South China University in Guangzhow. OSU delegates presented the drafts of cooperation agreements signed by OSU Rector Zhanna Ermakova to both universities. They also had paid a visit to the Center for Russia Studies in Anhui University and had a meeting with Shi Hongsheng, Director and other staff members.

Partners from China developed an interest to study Russian language and Russian culture and Russian History in OSU. The parties reached an agreement that OSU would host students from China as early as this academic year.
