OSU student Maria Kameneva confidently breaks records of Russia in swimming

Maria Kameneva, student from OSU Faculty of Applied Biotechnology and Engineering, a Master of Sports of Russia, International Class, became a three-time champion of Russia in swimming.

The Russian Swimming Championships ended in Moscow. It was the qualifier for the European Championships. More than 650 athletes from all over the country took part in the competition. Maria won three gold medals at 50 m freestyle (Russia’s record), 50 m on the back and 100 m freestyle. Besides, the athlete became a silver medalist at a distance of 100 m on the back.

As a result, the record holder at the Russian Swimming Championships has three gold medals and a silver medal.
