Russia and Kazakhstan: remembering and preserving

Orenburg hosted the International forum for searching groups from Russia and Kazakhstan “One victory for all! Eurasia dialogue”.

The event was dedicated to the 75^th anniversary of the victory in Stalingrad battle. OSU Research Institute of the History and Ethnography of the Southern Urals acted as one of the co-organizers of the forum.

Its participants shared best practices in patriotic upbrining, research activities and field work, in organizing military museums of fame, motor rallies and other memorial events and their promotion through social nets. These activities will contribute to keeping memories about the war time and stimulate searches and studies about the members of your family and community, certain detachments and compaigns. It will perpatuate the victims’ memory.
