OSU professor lectured in Kazakhstan

Professor Irina Prosvirkina from OSU department of Russian Philology and Methods of Russian Language Teaching returned from the business trip to Kazakhstan where she gave upgrading courses for educators and students from leading Aktobe universities.

The trip was sponsored by West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after Marat Ospanov from the funds of the “Visiting Professor” program. The program is actively implemented by many Russian and Kazakhstan universities and provides opportunities to employ part-time highly-esteemed specialists from near and far abroad. Educators from leading Aktobe universities attended scientific and methodology seminar “New methodologies and practicies in teaching Russian as a foreign language” and took advanced training from the OSU professor.
