Vitaly Berdinsky, Head of the Department of Biophysics and Physics of the Condensed Matter from OSU, paid a visit to Northwestern Polytechnical University (Xi'an, China) to take part in a seminar on the effects of magnetic fields on living systems.

The participants discussed scientific problems to apply for a grant, as well as their course of further joint actions. The result of the trip was the creation of a large transnational scientific team and four grant applications submitted to the headquarters of the BRICS secretariat, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) and Chinese and Indian national scientific foundations.
