OSU was awarded a gold medal for an innovative sausage at Russian Agro-Industrial Exhibition “Golden Autumn 2017”.

OSU Animal-derived raw materials Biotechnology and Aquaculture Department was announced as the winner for the half-smoked chicken sausage "For the student's breakfast". The project was carried out under the guidance of Mikhail Romanko, a member of the department. The competent judging panel, including professionals from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, V.M. Gorbatiy Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems, Russian Academy of Sciences and Rospotrebnadzor highly evaluated Orenburg students' sausage: they won the contest “High quality products manufacturing” and were awarded a diploma and a gold medal.
