Over 200 people came to Orenburg State University last Sunday to test their knowledge of Russian geography.

They had 45 minutes to answer 30 illustrated questions broadcast on a big screen. The tasks were divided into three blocks: the definition of geographical concepts and terms, the ability to recognize geographical features on the map and to find them through extracts from literary works.

After the dictation Nikolai Kuznetsov, a member of the Russian Geographical Society gave a lecture for all the present.
