On life aboard the ISS, superstitious beliefs and emergency situations

On November 1, OSU hold a meeting between cosmonauts, heroes of the Russian Federation Roman Romanenko and Oleg Kononenko and the university students.

More than 100 students, mostly the representatives of the OSU Aerospace Institute, had waited for this meeting for a long time. Heroes of the Russian Federation, who they know at first hand and whose biographies they study at the university, answered all their questions on that day.

Students’ questions were on a variety of topics. OSU AI representatives wondered how guests had acted in emergency situations, fed and maintained their physical form in a state of weightlessness, coped with technical difficulties. Also, the students asked questions about the development strategy of Russian cosmonautics for the next 15 years.

Within the framework of the meeting, two best questions were awarded with gifts from the heroes of Russia. All students also received autographed photos of cosmonauts and spent much time taking photographs with them.
