“Personnel for military-industrial complex”š— from employer-sponsored education to robots for high school students

Since 2016 the OSU Aerospace Institute has been successfully implementing a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation «Personnel for military-industrial complex».
Since 2014 the OSU Aerospace Institute has already received three grants and keeps on winning the competitions on projects to improve employer-sponsored education for university students for the benefits of military-industrial complex organizations.
The grants have funded 190šstudents from the OSU University College, bachelors and master's degree students from the Aerospace Institute in 17šfields of study. 52šteachers, graduate students and engineers from the Aerospace Institute had internships and qualification upgrading courses. They mastered 20šadditional professional educational programs at Moscow State Technological University STANKIN, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University), Moscow Institute for Further Professional Education of Teachers, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and other authoritative universities in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Ufa, as well as enterprises, including A.Y.šBereznyak State Engineering Design Bureau “Raduga” (Dubna), Industrial Group “Strela”, Engineering Design Bureau “Orion”.
The above mentioned activities will be continued during this current academic year. Thus another 177šstudents will graduate due to the funding.
As part of the new contest «Personnel for military-industrial complexš— 2017», OSU submitted an application for employer-sponsored education for 200šstudents in 2017–2019.
