Orenburg — Khujand: cooperation of the universities

OSU representatives took part in the International Round Table “The Russian Language in the Modern Educational Environment of Russia and Tajikistan: the Practice of Training and the Prospects for Cooperation” at Khujand State University (Tajikistan).

This is the first real step in implementing the agreement on cooperation between Khujand State University and Orenburg State University, signed this April.

Educators and Russianists, philologists, literary critics of the two countries, as well as Valery Bondarenko, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Khujand and Ivan Ivanov, head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Khujand were among the participants. Venaliy Amelin, director of the OSU Research Institute of the History and Ethnography of the Southern Urals and Irina Prosvirkina, professor of OSU Department of Russian Philology and Methods of Russian Language Teaching represented Orenburg State University.

Irina Prosvirkina and Olga Kosyanova, dean of the Faculty of Philology from Orenburg State Pedagogical University, gave lectures to Tajik colleagues on the most difficult issues of teaching Russian grammar. They also touched upon modern models of blended learning (“flipped classroom”, “change of learning areas”, etc.).
