Alexander Schmorell's family answered students' questions

OSU administration together with the university teachers and students met with the German delegation headed by the Consul General of Germany in Yekaterinburg Mr. Stefan Keil.

A delegation of 15 people visited Orenburg State University as a part of the Days of German Culture in the Orenburg region organized under the auspices of Orenburg Charity Foundation “Eurasia”. Their visit was timed to coincide with the 100^th anniversary of Alexander Schmorell, one of the founders of the White Rose Munich Student Anti-Nazi Resistance Movement.

Zhanna Ermakova, OSU Rector, briefed the guests on the university and the studies of the German language and culture at the Faculty of Philology and Journalism, as well as on what they do to preserve the memory of Alexander Shmorell.

OSU students had a chance to talk to Alexander Schmorell's family for the first time.
