Eurasian Olympiads Get Started in OSU

On the 8^th and 9^th of January the first Eurasian Olympiad took place in Orenburg State University.

OSU Rector Zhanna Ermakova took the lead of International Educational Project "Eurasian Olympiads and Competitions". The representatives of Russia, Kazakhstan, Tadzhikistan, and Kyrgyzstan supported the motion.

The regional Olympiad on drawing, painting and composition gained the "Eurasian" status first. This event was conducted by Design Department of OSU Architecture and Construction Faculty and over 80 senior pupils participated. Anna Gushchina (Art School for Children "Design-Center", Orenburg) became a total winner by the amount of gained points. Now she has an advantage over other HEI applicants — 10 extra points to the total scores.

The International Educational Project "Eurasian Olympiads and Competitions" is implemented by Ministry for Education and Science of Orenburg region, Orenburg State University, and Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan State University.
