The awarding ceremony of young scientists — state support award holders — was held on the 20th of December. Over 100 people were graced, including: 85 young candidates and doctors of science — competition winners of young scientists’ state support in Orenburg region 2016, 20 postgraduate students — competition winners of Orenburg region’s governor award for the talented youth.

The delegation of Orenburg State University headed by OSU Rector Zhanna Ermakova was the most numerous — over 30 people.

The Governor Yuriy Berg, Legislative Assembly Chairman Sergey Grachyov, Chief Federal Inspector of Orenburg Region Sergey Gavrilin, Regional Education Minister Vyacheslav Labuzov, as well as the heads of educational institutions have congratulated the prizewinners.
