Days of Germany: About the Past and Plans for the Future

Days of Germany were conducted in OSU.

The lecturers of Faculty for Philology and Journalism, students and guests have gathered in the hall with walls decorated by illustrations of German musicians, writers and historical figures. The Head of Administration for International Cooperation Eduard Yasakov has welcomed them and thanked all moderators of Germany week and its guests — the lecturer of German language courses for foreigners by Munich University — Angelika Maria Jodl, the writer — Andreas Götz, Associate Professor of Bashkir State University — Irina Ganieva and the lecturer of German Academic Exchange Service in Ufa — Aleksey Derre.

The Dean of Faculty for Philology and Journalism Irina Solodilova has emphasized that Days of Germany are held in OSU for the fifth time, but cooperation with German universities was started 15 years ago — since the visit of Professor, Honorary Professor of OSU Hans-Georg Liebig from Munich Ludwig Maximilian University. And this cooperation doesn’t depend on complicated political situation in the world, because the most import thing is aspiration for friendly relations and collaboration.

The exhibition “World Heritage of the Great Germans” was organized by the students of Department for German Philology and Methods of German Language Teaching. It was presented by 18 posters describing the life and efforts of the most famous figures in Germany in the field of science, culture, art and policy.

This event was finished in the Orenburg State Regional Puppet Theatre where the students have performed “Physicists” by Friedrich Durrenmatt on the stage.
