Consul General in OSU

On the 15^th of September the German guests headed by Stefan Keil — the consul general of Germany in Ekaterinburg came to OSU.

The visit took place within Days of German Culture in Orenburg region organized by “Eurasia” charity fund. The delegation welcomed by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Acting Rector Svetlana Pankova, Head of International Cooperation Administration Eduard Yasakov and guest lecturer, professor of HTWK Leipzig University of Applied Sciences Klaus Haenssgen.

Svetlana Pankova told the guests about the University; Eduard Yasakov reported about exchange programs with German universities and advanced training courses carried out by the lecturers from Ludwig-Maximilian University (Munich).

Klaus Haenssgen told that cooperation between universities started in 2008 goes on now — Orenburg students visit Leipzig regularly within DAAD programs and lecturers participate in academic exchange.

The guests were surprised that professor Klaus gave lectures for OSU students in Russian, not native for him, and noted that it deserves respect.
