Back Home, in Africa, with OSU Diplomas
30.06.16
For the first time in OSU history the students from far abroad countriesš— Afghanistan, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, and Chadš— have received university diplomas on the 30th of June.
Seven graduates (one girl among them) were studying at OSU Management Institute, Faculty of Economics and Management, Faculty of Economics and Finances. Wearing mantles and graduation hats they were excitedly waiting for one of the important events in their life.
OSU Rector Zhanna Ermakova noticed during her welcoming speech that study of the foreign students were important not only for them and their families, but also for the university. The foreign students could closely get acquainted with the life and culture of Russian Federation. And their course mates, lecturers and all people communicating with them had an opportunity to understand foreign countries better.
And now is a culmination point: the foreigners receive official documents of higher education from the hands of OSU Rector. Zhanna Ermakova congratulated the graduates on university diplomas and expressed her confidence that Russian education will be required in their countries.
Twelve representatives of Afghanistan, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Chad, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Bangladesh continue their education at Orenburg State University. The total number of foreign students in OSU is more than 1š000šstudents from countries of near and far abroad.
