About Scientific Cooperation with Tadzhikistan

Research Institute of the History and Ethnography of the Southern Urals (OSU) was among the event planners of the international round-table meeting in the frame of International Trade and Investment Forum "Export Capacity and Development of International Trade" and International Trade Fair "Sugd-2016" in Khujand (Tadzhikistan).

Estimating bilateral humanitarian cooperation the head of Research Institute of the History and Ethnography of the Southern Urals (OSU) Venaliy Amelin noticed that cooperation between Orenburg region and Tadzhikistan in the field of joint training and certification of scientific staff, conferencing, and publication of research results is established.

In their turn Tadzhikistan colleagues expressed their interest of joint research in the sphere of renewable energy sources, production of technical silicon for solar batteries from local reserves, energy and resource conservation methods, hydro system operating optimization on the basis of mathematical simulation, reclamation of local uranium tailing dumps, modern technologies and materials implementation for agricultural production processing and packaging, medical products issue on the basis of wild herbs. According to foreign colleagues the scientific cooperation with Russia is able to create a basis for innovative development of Tadzhikistan.
