Universities of Volga Federal District: Russian-Chinese Cooperation
OSU Rector Zhanna Ermakova took part in enlarged meeting of HEI Rectors’ Council of Volga Federal District organized in Nizhny Novgorod.
Universities’ heads made a decision to create an Association for International Cooperation between Volga Federal District Universities that will be a representative during cooperation process between Volga Federal District HEIs and universities of China provinces, located in upper and middle Yangtze River.
In the frame of this association it’s supposed that training of Russian students in China and Chinese students in Russia will be accomplished. Joint youth forums, research in different scientific fields are also planned. Forty educational institutions of Volga Federal District including Orenburg State University have joint this new organization. NSTU Rector Sergey Dmitriyev was elected as Association Council Chair.
