OSU Volunteers on "Formula-1" Auto Racing

OSU Students helped to carry out the World Championship in "Formula-1" circuit auto racing.

The 2nd-year student of Physical Faculty — Mikhail Daryin and the 3rd-year student of Law Faculty — Alena Subbot sent applications and had additional testing for knowledge assessment of spoken English to become volunteers of "Formula-1". About 700 people were selected among several thousand and OSU students were among them. Volunteers were divided into 2 groups; every group had three team leaders.

Mikhail Daryin became one of the leaders — he supervised 40 people at the same time. Mikhail helped organizers to control arrangement of volunteers at the points, to carry out replacement in due time and inform about new tasks. Alena Subbot navigates people on the territory of racing track, scanned tickets on access points, distributed visitors and welcomed sportsmen and guests of the action.
