The 9th of May: Relation of Personal and Global

OSU Students, Lecturers and Staff celebrated Victory Day with All Country.

Actions began way back in April. The students won in military-patriotic game "By Roads of Immortal Regiment" among other 10 teams of Orenburg and Kazakhstan universities as well as took part in "St. George Ribbon — 2016" campaign. On the 4^th of May number of actions devoted to the 71^st anniversary of the Victory took place in front of OSU Building № 3: there were songs and poems of military years, students’ waltz, Rector Zhanna Ermakova and participants let white doves fly to a world hymn.

OSU students and Zhanna Ermakova met veteran of Great Patriotic War, the University graduate — Mikhail Pavlovich Izmestyev on the eve of holiday. On the 7^th of May seven hundred students traditionally took part in the "Victory Waltz" — they danced on the central street of the city. In the morning of the next day OSU Rector, vice-rectors, heads of educational units, lecturers and students hold a moment of silence those who didn’t return from the war.

On the 9^th of May the representatives of OSU were in the line of "Immortal Regiment" and at 10 creative platforms of the university.
