About "Gagarin-Center" and Cosmonauts Food

On the 9^th of April OSU signed cooperation agreement with Samara Aerospace National Research University named after academician S.P. Korolev (SSAU).

Rector of SSAU — Evgeniy Shakhmatov presented how the University expands range of scientific fields, and emphasized that experience of other universities is important to use for carrying out of join researches and realization of educational programs. He expressed confidence that not only Rector’s offices will make connection after cooperation agreement signing, but also faculties, departments and laboratories.

OSU Rector Zhanna Ermakova confirmed that both universities will have more opportunities for cooperation and SSAU will benefit widening scientific and humanitarian activities. And not only in scientific but also in organizational plan: OSU passed this way in due time. Zhanna Ermakova presented guests OSU Institute of Bioelementology — Russian Satellite Center of Microelements Institute at UNESCO.

Vice-governor of Samara region Igor Eremin, our countryman, reported about creation of Science Town "Gagarin-Center" in Samara which will be working as an Interuniversity campus and Technology Park. This new "attraction center" is accessible for a few university cities and will serve for more than 2 million people. Representatives of both universities discussed use of new educational technologies and possibility of on-line students training.

After agreement signing delegation from Samara visited plant "Strela", where OSU Aerospace Institute has branch chair. Guests noted modern equipment for training of aircraft- and rocket engineering specialists which includes numerous educational stands, wind tunnel, 3D-printer and many others.
