All-Russian Research and Practice Conference 'Fundamental Science and Prospects for Cooperation between Russian Foundation for Basic Research and Administration of Orenburg Region'

Two conferences took place in OSU on the 8th and 10th of December. Results of cooperation between Orenburg scientists and leading national research fundsš— Russian Foundation for Humanities and Russian Foundation for Basic Researchš— were discussed.

Scientists and lecturers of regional universities, employees of scientific and educational institutions as well as federal, regional and municipal government authority presented research results financially supported by Administration of Orenburg region and funds of RFH and RFBR; they discussed results of collaborative work and prospects for further cooperation development.

Elena Lucayš— Head of Science and HEI Coordination Department of Orenburg Education Ministry told that Orenburg State University is indisputable leader in development of regional human sciences: OSU scientists received 52% of all grants due to agreement between RFH and Administration of Orenburg region. Acting OSU Rector Zhanna Ermakova noted that OSU scientists received about 60% of regional RFBR grants.

On the plenary meeting participants discussed and spread research results.
