OSU Scientists at 5th Eurasian Economic Forum

Group of OSU scientists participated in the 5th Eurasian Economic Forum "Orenburg Region 2015" on November 11–13.
There were state and public representatives, scientists, businessmen and experts from 12šcountries of the world (Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Italy, Czech Republic were among them). Round table conferences, seminars, expert sessions, business meetings and signing of agreements took place within the framework of the forum. Cooperation in the format of Eurasian space was the main subject of all events.
International exhibition of investment and innovative projects "Effectiveness and Quality" with presentation of Eurasian economic space and Russian Federation regions’ countries as well as Orenburg enterprises and municipalities started from first day. OSU scientists showed innovative developments which demand support of investorsš— production technique of horticultural powders, cartographical portal of environmental safety data of Orenburg region and others.
New pharmaceutical drugs for gastric ulcer treatment made by research group of Orenburg State University scientific and production cellular technologies laboratory, headed by Ramil Rakhmatullin aroused strong interest. Winners of Regional phase of National professional skills’ championship according to WorldSkills standards were awarded on the main stage of the 5th Eurasian Economic Forum. Semen Vlasovš— 3rd-year student of program "Exploitation of Transport and Technological Machines and Complexes" of OSU Kumertau Branch took the third place.
Postgraduate students and students of Orenburg State University presented 17šprojects within the framework of regional exhibition of youth scientific-technical creativity "HTTM-2015".
Head of OSU Customs Affairs Department, Viktoriya Bobrova appeared among the main speakers of roundtable conference "Development Prospects of Near-border and Interregional Cooperation between Russian Federation and Kazakhstan Republic under Conditions of Eurasian Economic Union" which took place on the second day of the forum work.
Acting OSU Rector Zhanna Ermakova, Sergey Letuta and Head of OSU scientific and production cellular technologies laboratoryš— Ramil Rakhmatullin took part in extended session of Coordination Council of RUIE departments in Volga Federal District where innovative technologies of personnel training and independent assessment of professional qualifications were discussed.
Zhanna Ermakova delivered report concerning "Orenburg State University in Eurasian Educational Space". She noted that OSU is the flagman of regional innovative educational technologies’ development. Orenburg State University is one of the most successful educational establishments in the region at present time. The HEI demonstrates stable growth trends during last 20šyears. More than 1/3 of students (totallyš— Orenburg and the region) study is OSU choosing more than 200šeducational programs in 35šenlarged fields. The University includes not only 3šbranches, 16šfaculties, one institute, many research departments but also museums, botanical garden, small innovative departments, Scientific and Technical Park. More than 27šthousand students study in OSU, one thousand of them are foreign students from Europe, Asia and Africa countries.
