DAAD Grant — German Tour

Students of OSU Philology and Journalism Faculty completed summer language courses at Germany universities.

They had such opportunity thanks to DAAD grant (German Academic Exchange Service). From 2006 OSU students send applications for participation in competitive selection and the best of them, 3–4 students per year study abroad free of charge for one month.

First-year students of German Philology and Teaching Methodology Department — Anzhelika Shpukanich and Svetlana Zakharova as well as 4^th-year student Anastasiya Yarkaeva received fellowship in Germany for August 2015. They improved the language level in various cities: at the oldest University of Stuttgart — Hoenheim, Dusseldorf University of International Communications and Kassel — in the center of Germany.

Each of the students had own study interests. Anzhelika Shpukanich studied particularities of German language. She completed "German Language in Country of Schiller and Porsche" course together with representatives of more than 30 countries where German is the common language.

Svetlana Zakharova completed economics courses, passed exam and received certificate about improving of economical knowledge.

Educational program for Anastasiya Yarkaeva includes art, especially the cinema. Every student was making a movie during one month; all movies and performance of theatrical group were shown on the last day of study.

Every student received certificate confirming improvement of German language level after courses’ completing.
