Improved Biogas Unit
Thesis presentation of Bakhyt Idigenov, OSU student of Electrical Power Engineering Faculty was held on 25th of June. His idea is mainly introduced into production.
The student’s innovation was implemented by LLC “Complex Utilization Systems” for reconstruction of the first regional biogas generation unit (Samorodovo village). High-efficient liquid organics and combustion gas are obtained there from organic wastes of animal production, sewage sludge and plant wastes.
Nikolay Kokharev, Head of LLC “Complex Utilization Systems”, noticed that biogas unit has been working during 3 months after partial reconstruction and these changes provide a significant economical benefit for the enterprise.
— Our enterprise cooperates with Orenburg State University from the year 2012. This graduation project is good example of successful cooperation between science and production, — Nikolay noticed.
Bakhyt have been exploring alternative energy for about 4 years. He will continue research in this field studying at Master’s degree program in OSU.
