Pavel Nosov, student of OSU Electrical Power Engineering Faculty

Graduation project of Pavel Nosov, the student of OSU Electrical Power Engineering Faculty will help to improve the heating system of industrial facilities and reduce costs.

Graduation project of Pavel Nosov

In the research Pavel has analyzed operation principles of gas infrared radiator for industrial buildings. Heating process of radiant tubes is carried out by combustion products from gas burners, but low transfer is conditioned by small tubes’ surface and low radiation intensity. Pavel offered to modify this device implementing a spiral: it increases the heat transfer raising the radiator’s efficiency.

Improved infrared radiator is compensated twice-three times faster than traditional heating systems by means of low investment and maintenance costs. The projects of installation are compensated during 2-3 years accordingly.

Due to new device implementation the production efficiency and enterprise’s working conditions will be increased.
