Today 8šbushes gladden with own fine aroma, but very soon it will be easy to see stems and brunches of other 10šbrunches behind pink leafs. Foreign plant started blossoming in expected time.

Hanami, so Japanese call admiring of sakura, became possible in Orenburg as the result of cooperation between OSU and partnerš— Hiroshima University. In 2012 president of Japanese university Toshimasa Asahara brought sakura plants as a gift for our university. They were landed on the territory of OSU botanical garden and blossomed in a year.
