Leipzig Becomes Closer

On 26^th of February Klaus Haenssgen - Professor of Faculty of Computer Science, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (Germany) has visited Orenburg State University once again. During the session of OSU Academic Council he was awarded a title of OSU Honorary Professor.

Klaus Haenssgen makes an invaluable contribution in cooperation development between Leipzig University of Applied Sciences and Orenburg State University. For years OSU students, lecturers and postgraduates undertake different internships in Germany.

In frames of this visit particular plans were discussed at the meeting with OSU Rector Vladimir Kovalevskiy. They decided to create a joint curriculum for master’s program on the base of Mathematics Faculty and to activate bilateral exchanges ensuring the opportunity of further visits for lecturing, experience exchange and research.
