Orenburg — Krasnoyarsk: Scientific Cooperation

Ivan Inzhutov — director of Construction-Engineering Institute of Siberian Federal University visited OSU as guest-professor. Cooperation agreement between Orenburg State University and Siberian Federal University within the framework of Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science project “Professionals for Regions” provides study and academic exchange, mutual visits and joint scientific research.

The professor visited University with aim to interchange experience with students and postgraduates of OSU Building Construction Department in the field of modern innovative construction technologies — he conducted seminars and lectures about latest developments and research in this area. Another goal of his visit was approbation of modern educational methods for thesis writing.

— I impressed with high level of teaching and students’ training at OSU Building Construction Department, — the professor from Krasnoyarsk told. — I learn a lot of new and unexpected communicating with students and lecturers.

Ivan Inzhutov ensured that synergetic effect of Orenburg’s and Krasnoyarsk’s masters and postgraduates “mix” leads to injection of “new streams” in activity of young scientists.

— We agreed to conduct complex and detailed study of OSU building constructions for development and building of houses in Altai region. This study will form the basis of scientific project and will be represented on-line. Students of East-Kazakhstan University will work together with future builders from Orenburg and Krasnoyarsk, — Professor Viktor Zhadanov told.

He noted that Orenburg State University has equipment for complex inspection and quality evaluation of ground, foundation, basis for all types of construction, that’s why future cooperation with OSU is important and necessary for Russian universities.
